AJ McCune scored his first goal of the season, and RJ Turner stopped 22 of 23 shots leading the Power City Bruins to a 1-1 draw to open league competition.

The game was physical throughout with several Bruins getting involved, led by a massive open ice blast by forward Joey Kinder.  Power City totaled 11 hits in the contest.

Late in the game things got chippy as several Bruins and Cyclones came together.  Multiple players from both teams got involved, with the Bruins earning a late power play opportunity to gather the win.  Without that goal, the Bruins will look for their first win during the home opener next week.

Hayden Hockaday lead Power City with 7 shots on goal, and multiple Bruins got in front of shots to limit opportunities against Turner.

The Bruins are back on the ice tomorrow at 6pm at Hyde Park for practice.
