Benny Lazzaro scored his second goal in as many games, but the Bruins couldn't put it all together in a 4-1 loss at West Seneca.
The first goal against was a firm centering pass that hit a skate and slid directly to a Wings forward. Two additional goals were on defensive giveaways, and the fourth was a clearing attempt gone awry in front of Bruins goaltender RJ Turner, who made 11 saves in defeat.
The normally stout Power City penalty kill yielded a goal in their only kill attempt, and the power play fell short on three attempts. The Bruins seems to have more offensive zone time throughout the game but did not capitalize on their chances - the shot totals were 27-15 in favor of Power City.
Brody Hockaday and Kamden Proper led the physical effort with four hits each, while Dario Savard blocked two shots for the visitors.
The Bruins need to get over this one quickly as they next play Saturday (today) at 2:30pm, hosting the Webster Cyclones at Hyde Park Ice Pavillion. This will be the second meeting of the year between the Bruins and Cyclones, the first ending in a 1-1 draw.
