The Bantam Major Bruins open their league schedule tomorrow at the Webster Ice Arena with puck drop against the Cyclones set for 12:50pm.
Expect a tight checking, low event game as the Cyclones play a strong positional game to limit their opponents team speed and high danger changes. Last season that proved very successful as Webster won the first four games of the season series against the Bruins.
The end of the season mattered, though, with the Bruins finally breaking through in the championship game of the Presidential Play down this past February, beating the Cyclones 3-0 to claim their second banner of the year. Power City must move the puck well out of the defensive zone and break out crisp to avoid a Cyclones transition game eager to capitalize and avenge last seasons' loss.

For the second straight season, the Bruins limp into the opener a bit. Missing for Power City will be leading scorer Carter Winiarski (excused) and defenseman Derrek Wolski (day-to-day). Defenseman Kamden Proper (upper body) and Dario Savard (illness) are both considered probable, while forward Hayden Hockaday (day-to-day) may be game-time decision.
